Sites and CPEs¶
Requirements per site¶
- An internet line with a router or modem that hands the CPE an IP address. Symmetric business fiber for high upload, LTE/5G or Starlink as primary at remote sites or as backup.
- Power and a rack or shelf position for the RB4011iGS+RM (1U, 10 × Gigabit Ethernet, 1 × SFP+).
- A LAN switch; managed switches and WiFi are available as add-ons.
IP plan¶
Each site gets LAN, guest and management VLANs with IPv4 prefixes, a transfer network to our PE and an IPv6 prefix. The plan is visible in the portal per site. Sites in one VRF route to each other; a datacenter attachment connects the VRF to services you host with us.
