Billing model¶

Storage is measured hourly per account. For each day the peak is kept; the monthly storage charge is the average of the daily peaks, not the highest point of the month.
Minimum purchase: 1 TB per account and month.
Minimum object size: every object is billed as at least 64 KB. Millions of small objects cost more than their logical size; bundle small files where you can.
Object versions, delete markers and incomplete multipart uploads count as stored data until they are removed or expired by a lifecycle rule.
Egress (bytes sent) is metered per month and billed per GB in volume tiers per account: the price per TB drops at the second and third tier. Ingress and API requests are free. There is no ratio between egress and stored volume and no monthly egress cap.
