Programmable authoritative DNS: answers are evaluated at query time from health, geography, weight, time of day and your own rules, and served from anycast nameservers on AS215197 behind our DDoS mitigation pipeline. Built on PowerDNS.

Engine	PowerDNS authoritative, LUA-scripted resolution for custom logic
Nameservers	anycast on AS215197, behind the ZERO-PROTECT mitigation pipeline (BGP Flowspec at the edge)
Health-aware answers	active health checks at the DNS layer; a backend that fails its checks leaves the answer set
Traffic steering	GeoDNS per region or per ASN; weighted answers for blue/green rollouts
DNSSEC	signed zones, automated key rollovers, NSEC3, enabled per zone
Management	REST API and self-service portal, every change in an audit log

Use with ZERO-Z3: geo-routing in front of buckets in different regions is an optional ZERO-SMARTDNS feature, not part of ZERO-Z3 itself.
